This list covers the southern Mesopotamian successor kingdoms of the Isin-Larsa period following the decline of the Third Dynasty of Ur. These kingdoms include Eshnunna (2028-1762 BC), Larsa (2025-1762 BC), Isin (2017-1787 BC) and the “Dynasty of the Sealand” (1732-1460 BC) which was based on the unidentified city of “Urukug” in the marshes of Sumer.
